CNC Miller
A skilled multi-axis CNC machinist is required for a rapidly expanding precision engineering company in South Oxfordshire.
You will be setting and operating 3, 4 & 5 axis milling machines, working to tight tolerances and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
The customer base is broad and well established, including Nuclear, Space Technologies, Medical, F1 and many other demanding industries.
Job Requirements
- A wide range of candidates will be considered, ranging from Setters and Operators through to experienced CNC Machinists and Programmers.
- Good communication skills are key and the willingness to learn and develop.
- CNC programming (EDGECAM/FANUC
- Quality inspection experience (including CMM) is a strong plus.)
- An engineering apprenticeship or NVQ/City & Guilds are desirable but not essential.
- Experience with working with a variety of materials, working to tight tolerances, along with the ability to use your own initiative, is also important
General
- Standard 37-hour week - early finish on Fridays
- Overtime and weekend work is available and paid at a premium rate.
