Vibe Recruit are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding various components, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to safety protocols. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical principles and the ability to work with a variety of materials, particularly sheet metal and experience TIG & MIG welding.
Duties
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to specifications.
- Perform stick welding and other welding techniques to join metal parts securely.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal pieces.
- Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Apply basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during the fabrication process.
Experience
- Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication and welding is preferred.
