Vibe Recruit have an immediate requirement for a Brake Press Operator for our well-established client based in Bridgend who are a leading manufacturer of bespoke sheet metal projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering processes, with the ability to operate press brake machinery effectively. Days Shift, Temp to Perm.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form and shape sheet metal.
- Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure the correct specifications.
- Perform quality checks on finished goods to ensure standards are met.
- Maintain equipment, with regular maintenance checks and cleaning.
- Work as part of a team to ensure all company requirements are met.
- Utilise hand tools effectively.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
