Salary: £19.19 per hour (£39,915.20 per annum) + £25 per week shift allowance

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 2:00pm - 12:00am

We're looking for an experienced Senior Production Team Leader to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment on a permanent PM shift. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong people leader who thrives in production and is looking to progress into a Shift Manager role in the future.

Working closely with the Shift Manager, you'll play a key role in leading multiple production teams, supporting Team Leaders and ensuring production targets, quality standards and health & safety requirements are achieved.

The Role

  • Support the Shift Manager with the day-to-day running of the production operation.
  • Lead, coach and develop Production Team Leaders to achieve operational excellence.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for production issues, helping to minimise downtime.
  • Monitor production performance and coordinate labour and resources effectively.
  • Deputise for the Shift Manager when required.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality and efficiency.
  • Build strong working relationships across departments to ensure smooth operations.

About You

  • You'll ideally have previous experience in a Team Leader or Senior Team Leader position within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • The ability to motivate, coach and develop teams.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
