We're looking for an experienced Senior Production Team Leader to join a fast‑paced manufacturing environment on a permanent PM shift. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong people leader who thrives in production and is looking to progress into a Shift Manager role in the future.
Working closely with the Shift Manager, you'll play a key role in leading multiple production teams, supporting Team Leaders and ensuring production targets, quality standards and health & safety requirements are achieved.
The Role
- Support the Shift Manager with the day‑to‑day running of the production operation.
- Lead, coach and develop Production Team Leaders to achieve operational excellence.
- Act as the first point of escalation for production issues, helping to minimise downtime.
- Monitor production performance and coordinate labour and resources effectively.
- Deputise for the Shift Manager when required.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality and efficiency.
- Build strong working relationships across departments to ensure smooth operations.
About You
- Previous experience in a Team Leader or Senior Team Leader position within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- The ability to motivate, coach and develop teams.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
- A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
