As a Site Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all facilities on the Witney site. Responsibilities will be diverse and responsive, with no two days being the same. This role requires a proactive and adaptable individual who can address a wide range of maintenance needs.

Responsibilities

  • General Site Maintenance: You will be responsible for a broad spectrum of hands-on maintenance tasks throughout the site. This includes but is not limited to:
    • Performing minor repairs on building structures, including walls, doors, and windows.
    • Conducting routine checks and light maintenance on plumbing and electrical systems.
    • Installing and mounting various fixtures and equipment.
    • Responding promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Maintenance Logging and Documentation: You will utilise the computerised maintenance management system to document all maintenance activities. This includes:
    • Accurately logging and tracking all incoming maintenance requests.
    • Maintaining a record of all maintenance logs to ensure a clear history of site upkeep.
  • Responsive and Adaptable Problem-Solving: This is a highly responsive role where your daily duties will be dictated by the immediate needs of the site. You must be prepared to:
    • Manage and prioritise multiple tasks simultaneously based on urgency and importance.
    • Adapt to a constantly changing work environment and handle unexpected issues.
    • Communicate effectively with staff and other departments to understand and address their maintenance needs.
