Are you an experienced Production Planner looking for a new challenge that can offer excellent variety and potential for future progression? Are you interested in working for a local manufacturer with an excellent reputation globally?
We are currently recruiting for a Production Planner to join an employer of choice in Hereford. This is a great opportunity to join a successful team during a period of growth.
As Production Planner you will:
– Support full customer contact service including order progressing, expediting deliveries, initiating order amendments and operating sales support system
– Plan, schedule and route products to meet material/delivery requirements, for orders and enquiries using the computerised systems to control orders, material supply and work in progress.
– Monitor, coordinate and participate in the activities of control systems, including outwork requirements.
– Translate customer order documentation and relevant approved specifications inherent in the job.
– Control and coordinate the scheduling of material/orders and their process routes, maintaining process and other stocks at minimum levels, cycling slow moving stock effectively.
– Control all aspects of the manufacturing cycle taking corrective actions to meet due dates and minimise late orders.
– Translate customer documentation into clear manufacturing instructions by calculation, identification, recording and route compilation.
– Give a full customer contact service including processing orders, resolving problems, liaising with Warehouse and Dispatch to expedite deliveries, effecting amendments to customer orders through sales support.
