Due to continued growth and customer demand a specialist equipment manufacturer, of high value products, is now available for a good assembly technician, to join a skilled team of Engineers, Technicians and manufacturing staff.
Main Duties:
- The build, test and inspection of assemblies.
- The use of hand and power tools
- Adopt good workmanship and Quality standards.
- Carry out assembly duties in a timely manner.
- Assist in other areas of the manufacturing process when required.
- Maintain tools and equipment in a clean and tidy state.
Skills and Experience:
- Previous hands-on manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience
- Experience and understanding of hand and power tools.
- Ability to read drawings, follow work instructions and procedures would be advantageous.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Able to prioritise work and be a capable problem solver
This is not a high-volume manufacturing environment and attention to detail, along with a 'Getting it Right First-Time' attitude is key!
