Graduate Logistics Coordinator

A large research organisation, based in South Oxfordshire require a science or engineering graduate to join their busy warehousing and logistics function.
A major refit and upgrade is taking place, with a large volume of goods being received and despatched daily.
Main Duties
- Coordinate, arrange and record all goods receipts and dispatched items from site
- Electronic registration of deliveries.
- File delivery notes and signed Receipt Registration labels.
- Inform staff and contractors when their deliveries have arrived.
- Relocate parcels / deliveries to storage compounds / locations.
- Resolution of queries arising from missing parcels, damaged goods, incorrect information etc.
- Stock management of consumables.
- Housekeeping and General Administration duties as required.
Skills & Experience
- A science, engineering or related degree - A Level and Btec qualifications will also be considered.
- Any previous logistics or warehousing experience would be beneficial but full training will be provided.
- Good communication skills with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- A full drivers licence and the ability to drive a van for site and local deliveries is required.
- The willingness to learn and take responsibility
- An excellent work ethic is also required
The role is available immediately, initially for a 12-month period but further extensions may be possible. xiskglj
