We are currently recruiting for a Site Engineer with an Electrical Bias to join a popular, expanding manufacturer in Blackwood. The company in question has benefitted from recent investment and you will have the chance to work on a variety of modern machinery.
As Site Engineer you will:
- Be responsible for supporting all site Engineering and Maintenance requirements.
- Support in achieving maximum effectiveness of machinery and equipment, by minimising downtime and supporting the effective operation of the PPM system.
- Complete required documentation and services reports as required.
- Ensure compliance to Health & Safety and environment legislation and adapt safe working practices at all times.
- Provide technical advice to problem solving and innovative solutions.
- Work in partnership with the Senior Engineer to ensure that the productive capability of the plant is optimised and improved for the needs of the business.
You will need to:
- Be able to demonstrate your multi-skilled engineering expertise through time served experience and qualifications.
- Draw on previous experience within a similar role and within a food manufacturing environment is desirable.
- Be an excellent trouble-shooter with the ability to resolve problems effectively, and within a cost-effective manner / within budget.
- Fault find on PLC/Invertors and read / follow electrical / pneumatic diagrams.
