An opportunity has arisen for a Quality & Manufacturing Coordinator to support operations within a regulated engineering environment. The role focuses on quality assurance, ensuring supplier documentation, material certification, and stock traceability meet required standards.
Location - Newport
Salary - Up to £31,000 Depending on experience
Pension/Life Insurance
37 hours per week. Mon - Thurs 08:00 - 16:45, Fri 08:00 - 12:00
Death in Service Benefit of 3 x annual salary
You will manage stock from goods receipt through to dispatch, verify supplier certification, and support both production and quality teams in maintaining accurate and compliant records. Over time, the role will expand to include broader production support, offering progression into a supervisory position.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate stock control and full traceability.
- Oversee goods-in inspections against purchase orders and specifications.
- Review and validate supplier material certification.
- Manage non-conforming materials and quarantine processes.
- Compile and issue certification packs for outgoing orders.
- Maintain supplier certification records and documentation systems.
- Support audit preparation and participate in internal audits.
- Assist with non-conformance investigations and resolution.
- Ensure documentation is organised, accurate, and audit-ready.
- Assist with inspection and production documentation checks.
- Support production operations, planning, and stock management.
- Provide cover for supervisory responsibilities when required.
- Experience in a manufacturing, quality, or document control role within an ISO 9001 environment.
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
- Understanding of certification, traceability, or regulated environments (desirable).
- Proficiency in Excel and document management systems.
