Estimator - Customer & Sales Support
Location: Neath
Salary: Up to Β£30,000 Depending on experience

We are recruiting an Estimator to join an established manufacturing business in Neath.
This is a customer-focused role rather than a design-heavy position . We're looking for someone who is excellent on the telephone, enjoys understanding customer requirements and can recommend the right product solution.
You'll also need some 2D AutoCAD experience , as you'll make straightforward amendments to existing drawings when required. You don't need to be a CAD Designer, the key is being comfortable using CAD alongside strong customer communication skills.
The role
Handle customer enquiries by telephone and email
Understand requirements and recommend suitable products
Prepare and follow up quotations
Make amendments to existing 2D AutoCAD drawings
Build strong customer relationships and help convert enquiries into orders
Develop an in-depth knowledge of the company's specialist product range
Maintain accurate information using the CRM system
Work closely with Sales, Production and other internal teams
What we're looking for
Excellent telephone and customer communication skills
Customer service, internal sales, estimating or sales support experience
Some 2D AutoCAD experience - essential
Strong attention to detail and organisation
Confidence using IT and CRM systems
A proactive, customer-focused approach
A genuine willingness to learn the product range in depth
This role would particularly suit someone who enjoys speaking with customers and solving problems, rather than someone looking for a predominantly CAD/design-based position.
Salary up to Β£30,000 depending on experience, plus bonus opportunity, 22 days' holiday + bank holidays, pension and ongoing training and development.
Please upload your CV for consideration.
