We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Internal Sales Advisor to join their finance team. This is a full time, permanent position.
Salary: £27,694 per annum
Location: Cumbernauld, Glasgow
Annual leave: 24 days plus BH
Hours of work: Rotating shifts - Week 1 - Mon- Fri 8am - 5pm, Week 2 - Mon - Thurs 8am - 4.30pm, Fri - 8am - 2.30pm.
The role of Internal Sales Advisor will play a crucial role in driving sales and revenue growth for the company by effectively managing and expanding relationships with existing customers whilst also identifying and cultivating new business opportunities. This role involves a combination of customer communication, product knowledge and sales expertise. The role will support the achieving of sales targets and return of Quotes.
Key Accountabilities:
- Deliver sales and number of frame targets across a defined region
- Communicate customer response time targets for completion of quotes
- Achieve set targets around follow up of quotes & conversion to orders through regular and timely contact with the customer
- Collaborate with RSM External Sales to achieve all sales targets
- Ensure all order and quote enquiries are logged and monitored from beginning to end with clear and accurate information that allows analysis of customer trends
- Support Customer Visits, sharing of Product information, attend exhibitions & events representing the business in a professional manner
Relevant experience:
- Previous experience in a sales support role is typically required (1-3 years)
- Experience within the construction, glazing, manufacturing, or fenestration industry is highly advantageous
- Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, quotations, or product specifications is a strong plus
