Credit Control Administrator - Immediate Start Location: Chepstow (Hybrid Working - 2-3 days in the office) Salary: £30,000 per annum Hours: 37.5 hours per week Contract: Initial 3-Month Fixed-Term Contract, with potential to extend or become permanent Vibe Recruit is currently recruiting for a Credit Control Administrator to join a well-established and growing business based in Chepstow. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Credit Control or Accounts Receivable professional who is available to start immediately and looking for a position with the potential to develop into a longer-term or permanent opportunity. Key Responsibilities Proactively manage outstanding customer balances and chase payments to ensure timely collection. Contact customers to confirm payment dates and resolve outstanding queries. Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal departments. Carry out credit checks on new and existing customers. Issue monthly customer statements and invoices. Upload invoices to customer portals and maintain accurate records. Assist with cash flow forecasting and financial reporting. Liaise with Sales and Finance teams to resolve payment issues. Escalate overdue accounts where necessary. About You We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and confidently manage a busy credit control workload. The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable or a similar Finance Administration role. Excellent communication skills with a confident and professional telephone manner. Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail. The ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritise workloads. Good IT skills and experience using accounting or finance systems. Experience with Sage X3 would be advantageous but is not essential . A proactive approach to resolving customer queries and outstanding payments. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Availability to start immediately or at very short notice. What's on Offer? Salary up to £30,000 per annum.
