Vibe Recruit is partnering with a people-focused organisation in Cardiff to recruit an experienced HR Advisor for a fast-paced contact centre environment supporting sales and customer service teams. This role is ideal for a confident HR generalist who enjoys high-volume employee relations, works closely with managers, and can apply sound judgement in complex, grey-area situations while balancing business and people needs.

The Role

You will be the first point of contact for HR queries, providing pragmatic, commercially aware advice to managers and employees. The role focuses heavily on absence management, performance, disciplinaries, grievances and wider ER casework, alongside coaching managers to build their confidence and capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise and support managers on all ER matters
  • Manage HR cases fairly, legally and consistently
  • Coach and train managers on HR best practice
  • Build strong relationships and promote a positive workplace culture
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, engagement initiatives and HR reporting
  • Assist with policy updates and payroll processes where required

About You

  • Proven HR Advisor/generalist experience
  • CIPD Level 5 (or working towards)
  • Strong ER background in a fast-paced environment (contact centre ideal)
  • Solid knowledge of UK employment law
  • Pragmatic, organised and confident influencing managers
