Location: Field based - Wales and South West Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Department: Facilities Management We are recruiting for an experienced Building Fabric Technician to join a busy Facilities Management team, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial sites. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone with strong multi-trade maintenance skills who is confident carrying out repairs across all aspects of a building, from roof level through to groundworks and internal maintenance. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned and reactive building fabric maintenance and repairs across customer sites. Complete a wide range of multi-trade works including: Groundworks and substructure repairs Car parks, pavements, loading bays and external surfacing Internal and external wall repairs and cladding Tiling and decorating Partitioning and ceilings Doors and windows Roofing, fascias and rainwater goods Fencing, gates and barriers Flooring, skirting and duct covers General carpentry and metalwork repairs Assess required works on site and provide accurate information to support quotations and material requirements. Complete work orders within agreed service levels and timescales. Take before and after photographs and accurately record completed works, materials used and time spent on site.
