The predicted salary is between 35000 - 45000 Β£ per year.
An organisation that prides itself in completing outstanding work quickly, on time, and on budget - providing vital support for airlines, now has a need for additional Airframe Technicians. Successful candidates must be able to offer a balance of technical maintenance work, along with leadership and driving performance, and team development.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintenance: You will apply your aircraft expertise to oversee and perform all maintenance activities, both scheduled and unscheduled, in line with customer operational requirements.
- Responsibility: You will be responsible for supporting the Engineer in supervising, mentoring, and allocating resources as needed to ensure the efficient running of operations, while maintaining compliance with Part 145 maintenance requirements, internal processes and procedures.
- Health & Safety: With safety and quality as top priorities, you will ensure full compliance with Health & Safety procedures while performing aircraft maintenance within the scope of the company approvals. Upholding the highest engineering standards and practices, you will support the team in delivering defect rectification, investigation, repair, overhaul, and modification activities.
Skills - Knowledge & Experience:
- Proven track record, typically achieved with 3 years minimum experience in aviation maintenance (including time served during an apprenticeship) within a Part 145 organisation.
- Demonstrates a broad skill set in maintaining aircraft systems including rigging, component replacement, and modification embodiment.
- Ability to use recognised aircraft documentation, including the Aircraft Maintenance Manuals, Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives.
- Good structural knowledge including ability to carry out structural repairs.
Qualifications and Training:
- Apprenticeship (or equivalent) in aviation.
- B1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licence.
- Initial Human Factors, EWIS & Fuel Tank Safety.
Desirable:
- UK CAA AML or EASA AML issued pre 31/12/2020; or UK CAA AML & EASA AML issued post 31/12/2020.
- Aircraft type course on any of the following: B737NG - B737CL - B757 - B767 - A320 family.
