Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation & review of monthly US GAAP TB.
- Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Assist with VAT / CIT / RDEC preparation & submission.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as statutory regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and provide financial insights.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by management.
Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (e.g., US GAAP, UK GAAP).
- Proficiency in Oracle and Microsoft Excel.
