The Global Pricing Solution Senior Specialist is responsible for owning and optimizing Viatris’ global pricing system, ensuring it supports accurate, efficient, and compliant pricing operations across markets. This role acts as the key link between business, IT, vendors, and end users, driving system performance, enhancements, upgrades, master data integrity, reporting, and user enablement. The position plays a critical part in strengthening international reference pricing capabilities, improving data quality and process consistency, and enabling global and local stakeholders to make informed pricing decisions.
- Be a business owner of the Pricing System (International Reference Pricing), working with IT and Vendor to resolve issues and enhance system capabilities and features, development, enhancements, testing and deployment of systems and trainings.
- Take the lead of regular and scheduled system upgrades/releases provided by Vendor with proper timeline management.
- User management for the Global Pricing System (Control of user access, number of licenses and development of pricing system training resources for current and new users).
- Be the point of contact in the Pricing System for the system end users. Partner with Regulatory, Pricing, Market access and other stakeholders at local and global level to understand their needs, ensure their proper training and to improve processes.
- Collaborate with Global Pricing team by providing system support, mass data upload and custom data reports.
- Validate and manage the system Codes/SKU information/Launches (master data), including integration of acquired and/or divested portfolios.
- Pricing System master data updates, improvements and validation based on the harmonization with Financial Budget / Volumes / FX rates.
- Data integration of different sources via API within the Pricing System.
- Pricing System data audit and accuracy vs other sources.
For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills, and experiences:
- Must have extensive experience of Pricing System (International Reference Pricing); preferably as a solution owner. Experience with ModelN or Navlin platforms is a plus.
- Must have experience in partnering with IT teams to develop or maintain commercial systems, being part of IT project management.
- Must possess strong technical skills and knowledge of Microsoft office, mainly Excel. Experience with master data and/or database management based on SQL and/or ETL tool a plus.
- Strong interaction and communication with stakeholders to understand their needs.
- Business acumen to transform business needs to technical terms.
- Previous experience in International Reference Price is desired.
- Regional or Global experience is desired.
- Detail-oriented and result-driven.
- Must possess analytical, communication, influencing, problem solving and writing skills.
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English is required.
Education: Business, Finance background preferred.
