We are looking for a Product Manager within the Hotels Product team, supporting a two-sided marketplace of travelers and suppliers (Online Travel Agencies and Hotel Chains). The role focuses on both sides of the platform to find solutions beneficial to consumers and business customers. You may tackle complex technical product areas (e.g., offer ranking, bidding and other aspects of auction dynamics driven by Machine Learning models). As a PM, you will influence the product strategy, own your roadmap, and produce specifications that evolve the platform’s feature set for internal and external customers, collaborating closely with engineering to ensure quality deliverables on time.
Responsibilities
- Understand and influence the product strategy of Hotels; actively contribute to OKRs and roadmap planning.
- Develop requirements and specifications informed by product strategy, competitive positioning, customer feedback, technical feasibility and your insight.
- Lead cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle, owning the product from conception through launch to maturity and support.
- Work with business stakeholders to define and translate strategic business ideas into product stories and acceptance criteria.
- Manage technical projects, track progress towards milestones, and oversee agile planning and development cycles.
- Communicate the state of projects across teams and stakeholders.
- Research, troubleshoot, diagnose, and recommend solutions to complex business and technical problems.
Qualifications / What You’ll Bring To The Team
- 3+ years of product management experience.
- Strong technical skills. Able to dive into APIs and other software architecture and design tradeoffs with engineering teams.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with a diverse set of responsibilities.
- High degree of autonomy and self-motivation.
- Proven ability to create, analyze and communicate analytics and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with various audiences across different seniority levels.
- High attention to detail and the ability to effectively lead multiple projects.
- Strong time-management skills and ability to prioritize.
- Proficiency with agile development.
- Ability to collaborate with a global team across multiple time zones.
