What you'll do
- Management of Client Telecommunication support contracts and rotational personnel incumbent within Clients direct.
- Point of contact for Clients and lead all aspects of their needs as well as the delivery of services, systems, or equipment.
- Support of Ad hoc Clients and personnel ensuring they can complete tasks to a high standard.
- Responsible for technical knowledge of current & legacy offshore Telecoms system including; PAGA, CCTV, Radio (Handheld and base station UHF/VHF, Leaky feeder and distribution), LOS Radio, EPIRB, PABX (Mitel especially), Fibre Optic network & distribution, VSAT & TVRO including entertainment back and distribution.
- Provide Engineering support to Internal Sales Department.
- Provide Engineering support to Clients and the Field Team.
- Provide proposals for works and quotes requested by Clients.
- Point of Contact to Clients with Telecommunication Support Agreements as well as Ad hoc Clients.
- Responsible for the management of Telecommunication Support contracts and of Field personnel in the delivery of contracts.
- Participate in client meetings, communications, and provide support in the pursuance of additional business opportunities.
- Arrange the Purchase, Build, Testing and Shipping of goods for project supply.
- Complete all required documentation relevant to the project.
- Responsible for coordinating telecommunication systems installation projects ensuring the successful delivery of each Project assigned within timescale and to budget ensuring that all customer requirements are met.
- Collaborate with the Field Operations Manager for the appropriate allocation of technical resources.
- Complete direct reports annual appraisals along with setting Company and individual Objectives.
- Support and uphold the Quality program within Technical Services in a manner that complies or exceeds our ISO certification using or developing templates, checklists, or other tools that enable the repeatable execution of successful projects.
- Support the commitment of an HS&E program across all work groups that provides the appropriate training, awareness, and job planning for zero incidents and accidents, both in the office or customer worksites.
What you'll need
- Degree in Engineering (Preferably in Electrical & Electronics, or Telecommunications) or equivalent 6+ years of experience.
- Proven Offshore Operational experience.
- Proven operations Management experience.
- Experience within Telecom industry.
- Able to demonstrate a high level of customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Ability to work in a global environment.
