As a Junior Project Manager you will contribute to and support the management of a spectrum of internal development, capital, and contract programs across a variety of related technology. You must have an understanding of the basics of project management and be able to contribute to schedule updates, project reviews and reporting. You will have the opportunity to support the growth of the business not just through overseeing projects but also through supporting proposal development and customer engagement.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the programme managers with project reporting, including scheduling, financial reporting, budgeting and risk management.
- Display proactive and flexible project-oriented dedication, with the ability to work with a variety of groups, including development, operations, and support services within a global organisation.
- Work with teams on projects to understand progress to date and to handle the impact of change, scoping out new and future projects.
- Support the compilation of whitepapers, bids and proposals with content, cost and scheduling information.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in project management (APMP/Prince 2 or equivalent).
- Knowledge of MoD and/or security communications.
- UK national and able to obtain SC clearance.
- Proven experience in project/program management and technical leadership.
- Knowledge of EVM practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
Preferred
- Experience working onsite in Farnborough.
