This post represents an exciting opportunity for an individual with experience in Service Desk and IT Support to further develop their knowledge and capabilities.
You would be joining the IT Service Desk and End User
Technology team. This team consist of 1st line engineers (Service Desk Operators) and 2nd line engineers (End User Technology Engineers).
The Service Desk team is responsible for the day-to-day IT support within Synnovis.
Situated 5 minutes from Blackfriars station.
Main duties of the job
-Provide first point of call for all IT issues
-Answer incoming phone calls and manage any walk-in queries
-Manage individual ticket queue and ensure tickets are resolved in a timely manner
-Triage incoming tickets to ensure they are directed to the appropriate teams.
-Create and manage user accounts in Microsoft Entra ID
-Manage staff E-mail accounts
-Manage staff desktops
-Occasional desktop support for staff on-site
-Set up hardware for staff on-site, e.g. building laptops, configuring company mobile phones,
-Organize courier deliveries/ collections for equipment between sites and staff
-Manage equipment deliveries and ensure all hardware is documented in CMDB

At Synnovis, we are currently shaping the future of pathology services by creating a world-leading Hub and Spoke pathology network with our NHS partners. A large part of this modernisation will involve moving 70% of our services to a purpose built, state of the art Hub laboratory in the heart of London.
Synnovis is a pathology partnership between SYNLAB UK and Ireland, and the NHS, including sites, Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, to deliver and transform pathology services across South East London.
The partnership provides services to 1.7 million people living in South East London, as well as to hundreds of thousands of patients from outside the region who use local healthcare services.
The partnership provides diagnostics, testing and digital pathology for hospital trusts, GP services and other healthcare providers.
Synnovis’ Corporate HQ; housing our Finance, Procurement, HR, Service Improvement and Business Development teams. Situated 5 minutes from Southwark station you will have easy access to the vibrant South Bank and local amenities
