Loading and unloading of vehicles and general warehouse duties to ensure efficient and effective operations are maintained. Picking and packing of products in the warehouse in line with business requirements, including completing all administration activities in relation to goods in and out.

Responsibilities
Loading and unloading of international and domestic vehicles in a safe and timely manner.
Checking and completing relevant documentation.
Receive deliveries of storage goods from into warehouse. Check quantities/condition, record receipt and complete paperwork.
Put away customer goods into relevant racking space; strategically store merchandise to maximize storage space within the warehouse.
Complete stock and inventory checks on locations as required.
Maintain cleanliness in all areas including warehouse, warehouse office, goods yard and car parks. Thoroughly inspect merchandise for any damages and discrepancies.
Maintain an accurate record of all merchandise received and distributed at all times in line with company procedures and standards.
Contact relevant office staff to resolve any shipment or delivery issues.
Use forklifts (counterbalance/reach trucks) to load, unload, move, stack, and arrange merchandise accordingly.

Liaising with visiting drivers and subcontractors, providing operational and health & safety instructions.
Cooperate fully with site health and safety requirements.

Knowledge / Experience / Skills Required
Demonstrable experience in a warehouse logistics environment.
Computer literate in MS Office 365 applications.
Effective team player.
Good time keeping and organisational skills.
Logical approach to issue resolution.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
Adaptable with change and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Forklift truck licence (essential).
Reach licence (preferred).
