We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Associate to join our International Business Travel & Remote Work team. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong understanding of global mobility including compliance risks associated with cross-border business travel and remote working arrangements and has experience in analyzing complex business travel datasets. You will work directly with multinational clients to help them identify, manage, and mitigate compliance risks arising from business travel and remote work. The role combines technical expertise, client relationship management, project delivery, and team development responsibilities.

As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality client services, supporting business development initiatives, coaching junior team members, and contributing to the continued growth of our Business Travel and Remote Work practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of international business travel and remote work compliance and advisory engagements.
  • Deliver practical advice relating compliance obligations.
  • Account management for clients using risk assessment and tracking technology tools.
  • Support the design and implementation of international remote work compliance programs including policy and governance design and technology implementations.
  • Conduct risk assessments for cross-border employee activities and remote work arrangements.
  • Review and analyze employee travel data to identify potential compliance exposures.
  • Prepare and review client reports, technical analyses, presentations, and recommendations.
  • Liaise with overseas member firms and technical specialists to coordinate multi-country projects.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders.
  • Act as a day-to-day point of contact for clients.
  • Support client meetings, workshops, and compliance reviews.
  • Identify opportunities to expand service offerings and improve client outcomes.

Project Management:

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
  • Coordinate delivery across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines.
  • Ensure delivery is aligned with internal quality and risk management standards.

Team Development:

  • Review work prepared by Associates and more junior team members.
  • Provide coaching, technical guidance, and on-the-job training.
  • Support knowledge sharing and technical development within the wider team.
  • Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies.

Business Development & Practice Growth:

  • Assist with proposals, client presentations, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of new service offerings and technology-enabled solutions.
  • Support marketing activities, webinars, client events, and industry forums.
  • Stay current with legislative developments, market trends, and emerging workforce mobility practices.

Technical Knowledge & Experience:

  • Experience with business travel compliance technology and travel data analysis.
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities.
  • Experience using Power BI, Alteryx, or similar reporting and analytics tools.
  • Experience in global mobility, business travel data analytics, business travel compliance, remote work compliance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of international global mobility principles.
  • Experience managing client relationships and delivering projects.
  • Ability to interpret technical legislation and translate it into practical business advice.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
