We are seeking an experienced and motivated Manager to join our International Business Travel & Remote Work team. This role is ideal for an individual with:
- a strong understanding of global mobility, including compliance risks associated with international remote working arrangements.
- detail-oriented and highly organized skills to support the management, maintenance, and enhancement of our global employment tax technical database for international business travel & international remote work covering over 100 countries.
This role is central to ensuring our platform remains accurate, up to date, and aligned with legislative and regulatory developments across income tax, payroll, and social security. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality client services, supporting business development initiatives, coaching junior team members, and contributing to the continued growth of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Delivery – international remote work: Manage a portfolio of international remote work compliance engagements. Deliver practical advice relating to international remote work compliance obligations. Account management for clients using risk assessment and tracking technology tools. Identify and drive new business development opportunities in international remote work.
- Content Coordination & Communication: Act as the primary liaison with global network offices to gather country-specific updates on tax, payroll, and social security legislation in relation to international business travelers & international remote workers. Manage update cycles and ensure timely communication of required changes. Track progress of submissions from country contacts and escalate delays where necessary.
- Technical Content Review: Review technical content for accuracy, consistency, and completeness. Validate country submissions against legislative sources, internal standards, and established tax rules. Identify discrepancies, gaps, or ambiguous content and work with country contributors to resolve them. Monitor legislative and regulatory developments in assigned jurisdictions. Conduct targeted research to verify content or clarify technical points where needed.
- Content Management: System Updates, Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement: Maintain version control and audit trails of all changes. Support enhancements to content templates, tax rule structures, or metadata as required. Perform periodic audits and quality checks on existing database content. Recommend improvements to content workflows, review processes, and documentation. Support ongoing efforts to streamline the update process and improve accuracy and efficiency.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in personal tax, payroll, global mobility, or social security for international remote work.
- Preferred prior work with technical databases, content libraries, or compliance systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work systematically.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret tax or regulatory information (training can be provided).
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple jurisdictions and deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teams in multiple countries and time zones.
