Job Description
- Lead the design and delivery of enterprise-wide dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI and modern data platforms.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to define KPIs and translate business requirements into measurable outcomes.
- Implement governance frameworks aligned with Microsoft CoE principles and ensure compliance through RLS/ABAC models.
- Drive adoption of AI-powered analytics to enhance insights and predictive capabilities.
- Manage a global team of analysts and developers, including hiring, mentoring, and performance reviews.
- Standardize templates and centralized data models to reduce development time and automate reporting pipelines.
- Utilize Microsoft Copilot for Power BI to streamline report creation, automate repetitive tasks, and enable natural language queries for business users.
- Champion adoption of AI-driven analytics and self-service BI tools while collaborating on roadmap planning for digital transformation initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience working with BI Tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- 15+ years in analytics, reporting, and data platforms with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong experience connecting to and working with Snowflake, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, CosmosDB, and REST APIs.
- Exposure to The Reporting Hub and Bold BI platforms.
- Python programming skills for developing custom visualizations and data processing tasks.
- Ability to write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) for application & database hosting and integrations. Azure preferred.
- Understanding ETL processes and data integration strategies.
- Familiarity with data visualization best practices (chart selection, UX/UI design for dashboards).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Managerial-level skills including team leadership, capacity planning, and stakeholder engagement.
- Project & Stakeholder Management: Agile/Scrum, Team Management, Performance Management.
- Experience leveraging AI tools for analytics and insights generation.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Knowledge of ReactJS, JavaScript, or HTML/CSS for enhanced custom visualizations.
- Understanding data security best practices when building BI tools.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
