An exciting opportunity has arisen with a fast-growing, high-performance business operating within the luxury hospitality and live events sector. This organisation delivers premium experiences across some of the UK and world’s most prestigious sporting and entertainment events, working with high-end corporate clients and VIP audiences. They are now looking to appoint a Sales Training & Development Manager to drive performance, capability, and engagement across multiple teams and office locations.

This is a highly visible role where you will work closely with senior leadership to shape training strategy, improve sales effectiveness, and support the ongoing development of both new and existing employees across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and wider business functions. The position would suit an energetic and commercially minded trainer who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys building high-performing teams through impactful coaching and development programmes.

The Role

Reporting into the Director of People and partnering closely with commercial leadership, you will take ownership of onboarding, sales enablement, leadership development, and continuous learning initiatives across the business. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering engaging onboarding and induction programmes for new starters
  • Providing sales training across areas such as cold calling, objection handling, negotiation, consultative selling, and pipeline management
  • Coaching employees through call listening, feedback sessions, and floor support
  • Supporting managers with leadership development, coaching techniques, and performance conversations
  • Designing and delivering training content including presentations, guides, workshops, and e-learning materials
  • Identifying skills gaps and monitoring training effectiveness through data and performance insights
  • Collaborating with Operations and Marketing teams to improve product knowledge and cross-functional alignment
  • Supporting a positive, high-performance culture across multiple office locations

About You

Applicants should ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a sales training, learning & development, or enablement-focused role
  • Strong understanding of sales environments, ideally including telesales or outbound sales
  • Experience coaching individuals and teams within fast-paced commercial businesses
  • Confidence delivering training both one-to-one and in group settings
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience developing leadership or management capability would be highly advantageous
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce
