A high growth, consumer loved brand is looking for a Group Accountant to join its fast scaling finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a business known for innovation, energy, and a genuine investment in personal development. You will play a key role in strengthening the group’s financial reporting, improving processes, and supporting strategic decision making as the company continues its rapid expansion.

What You Will Do:

  • Work closely with the Group Reporting Manager on monthly consolidation and intercompany reconciliations, ensuring accurate and timely group reporting.
  • Own monthly group balance sheet analyses and reconciliations, including key working capital and balance sheet KPIs.
  • Take responsibility for the Group’s IFRS 16 calculations and related journal entries.
  • Support cash management initiatives including liquidity optimisation and cash movements across entities.
  • Assist with consolidated statutory accounts and key deliverables for the year end group audit.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance and streamline financial processes, driving continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and reporting deadlines.
  • Take a hands on, proactive approach to solving problems and supporting wider finance initiatives.
  • Support a variety of ad hoc projects as the business continues to scale.

What You Bring:

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA or ACA) with at least 3 years post qualification experience.
  • Experience in FMCG or Retail is beneficial.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge with consolidation experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong organisational ability.
  • Independent, proactive mindset with a solutions focused approach.
  • Enthusiastic about improving processes and supporting a growing business.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 3 years post qualification experience.

Education:

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA or ACA).
