We're looking for a Lead Practitioner Psychologist (equivalent NHS AFC band 8b) to provide clinical supervision to a range of our drug and alcohol services. This will also include focused psychological inputs to our Kingston service where you'll provide consultancy, supervision, training, and support our group programme. This well-supported post is ideal for practitioners seeking to step into a leadership position whilst continuing to develop clinical skills that contribute to trauma-informed working.
Via has been growing provision of psychological expertise across our services and the post-holder would be part of a thriving psychology team who meet regularly to provide support, CPD opportunities, share learning, and collaborate to implement a shared vision for psychologically informed practice across the organisation.
Responsibilities- Provide clinical supervision to our services, including young people services (supervision may be online where geographically challenging).
- Dedicate up to three days a week to supervision of these services.
- On one day a week, embed in the Kingston service, playing a key role in shaping culture and processes.
- Help ensure psychological thinking is embedded throughout our work, supporting development through consultancy, reflective practice, supervision, training, supporting our group programme, and clinical case management.
- Lead Practitioner Psychologist (equivalent NHS AFC band 8b).
- Compassionate, good communication skills, ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Trauma-informed working experience is desirable.
