Group Accountant

Group Accountant\\nSalary: £60,000 to £70,000\\nLocation: Hybrid, Central London\\nStart Date: Flexible\\n\\nA high growth, consumer loved brand is looking for a Group Accountant to join its fast scaling finance team. You will play a key role in strengthening the group’s financial reporting, improving processes, and supporting strategic decision making as the company continues its rapid expansion.\\n\\nWhat You Will Do:\\n\\n * Work closely with the Group Reporting Manager on monthly consolidation and intercompany reconciliations, ensuring accurate and timely group reporting.\\n\\n * Own monthly group balance sheet analyses and reconciliations, including key working capital and balance sheet KPIs.\\n\\n * Take responsibility for the Group’s IFRS 16 calculations and related journal entries.\\n\\n * Support cash management initiatives including liquidity optimisation and cash movements across entities.\\n\\n * Assist with consolidated statutory accounts and key deliverables for the year end group audit.\\n\\n * Identify opportunities to enhance and streamline financial processes, driving continuous improvement.\\n\\n * Ensure compliance with accounting standards and reporting deadlines.\\n\\n * Take a hands on, proactive approach to solving problems and supporting wider finance initiatives.\\n\\n * Support a variety of ad hoc projects as the business continues to scale.\\n\\nWhat You Bring:\\n\\n * Qualified accountant (ACCA or ACA) with at least 3 years post qualification experience.\\n\\n * Experience in FMCG or Retail is beneficial.\\n\\n * Strong technical accounting knowledge with consolidation experience.\\n\\n * Advanced Excel skills and strong organisational ability.\\n\\n * Independent, proactive mindset with a solutions focused approach.\\n\\n * Enthusiastic about improving processes and supporting a growing business.\\n\\nExperience Required:\\n\\n * Minimum 3 years post qualification experience.\\n\\nEducation:\\n\\n * Qualified accountant (ACCA or ACA).\\n\\nWhat’s On Offer:\\n\\n * Discretionary bonus, pension, and food and wellbeing allowance.\\n\\n * 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays and your birthday off.\\n\\n * Private healthcare.\\n\\n * Flexible working arrangements.\\n\\n * A high growth environment that invests heavily in personal and professional development
