Lead. Sell. Build a Winning Team.

If you're the kind of sales leader who still loves the thrill of closing deals while developing high-performing people, this is your opportunity.

Via is partnering with an ambitious, fast-growing business within the sports and hospitality industry that's looking for a Sales Team Manager to help drive its next phase of growth.

This isn't a role where you'll spend your days buried in spreadsheets. You'll be in the action—coaching, motivating and inspiring your team while maintaining your own pipeline and leading from the front.

If you're competitive, commercially driven and passionate about helping others succeed, you'll fit right in.

Location: Glasgow (Office-based)

Start Date: Flexible

Why You'll Love This Role

You’ll join a business that's investing heavily in growth, giving you the opportunity to shape a sales team, influence strategy and make a genuine impact.

This is a player-manager role where your success comes from both building an exceptional team and continuing to win business yourself.

You’ll have the freedom to introduce new ideas, develop talented sales professionals and play a key role in the company's future.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Recruit, coach and develop a team of ambitious New Business Executives.
  • Deliver engaging onboarding programmes and ongoing sales training.
  • Conduct regular one-to-ones, coaching sessions and performance reviews.
  • Create a competitive, collaborative and high-energy sales culture.
  • Lead by example through your own outbound sales activity.
  • Build and manage your own pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with senior decision-makers.
  • Monitor team performance, KPIs and conversion rates.
  • Implement strategies to improve activity, revenue and overall sales performance.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to refine sales processes and outbound strategy.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll be an experienced sales leader who enjoys getting the best out of people while continuing to perform personally.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience leading successful outbound sales teams.
  • A strong background in business development and new business generation.
  • A proven record of exceeding sales and revenue targets.
  • A genuine passion for coaching and developing people.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and closing skills.
  • The ability to motivate, inspire and hold teams accountable.
  • High levels of resilience, ambition and commercial awareness.
  • A desire to lead from the front rather than manage from the sidelines.

Bonus Points If You Have

While not essential, we'd love to see experience in:

  • Sport, hospitality, events or luxury experiences.
  • Relationship-led sales environments.
  • Building sales functions or developing junior sales talent.

What You’ll Get

Alongside a competitive salary and uncapped earning potential, you'll enjoy a fantastic benefits package including:

  • £35,000 - £45,000 basic salary (DOE)
  • Uncapped commission
  • 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with service
  • Private BUPA health and dental cover
  • Pension and life assurance
  • Monthly team socials
  • Refer-a-friend bonuses up to £500
  • Cycle to Work scheme
  • Travelcard loan
  • Eye test and VDU glasses support
  • Long-service rewards
  • Christmas office closure
  • A fully paid one-month sabbatical after 10 years of service
  • Genuine opportunities for progression as the business continues to grow
