As a Front-End Team Lead at Via, you'll join our R&D center to lead a team of developers, directly contributing to our product by using cutting-edge technologies. You'll take a critical part in our mission to shape the future of transportation, affecting tens of thousands of riders daily worldwide. You will take a key role and be a focal point on front end architecture.
What You'll Do:
- Implement front-end tools & libraries which are used in Via Work and lead a group of talented engineers to create visionary UI/UX products
- Examine, question and improve - consult and make decisions to move things forward
- Improve the user experience across Via's platform
Who You Are:
- BSc. Computer Science or similar
- Proven experience leading a team of people
- 4+ years of professional experience
- Experience with React or similar frameworks
- 3+ years of experience as a Web Application Developer
- Map based application development (Mapbox, Google JS SDK, etc...) - Advantage
- Experience with backend development (Python) - Advantage
