This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who has lived the sales floor — and now wants to make other people better at it. A well-established UK hospitality and events business with a growing commercial function is looking for a skilled trainer and coach to own capability development across their sales teams. You'll have real influence here: shaping how salespeople are onboarded, how managers coach, and how the business grows.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Delivering training across outbound sales, objection handling, consultative selling, pipeline management, and closing
  • Coaching live sales environments — call listening, floor support, roleplay, and structured feedback
  • Building onboarding programmes for new commercial hires
  • Supporting managers with coaching technique, 1:1 development, and performance conversations
  • Creating playbooks and enablement resources that teams actually use
  • Using data and CRM metrics to identify skill gaps and track improvement

Who we’re looking for:

You started in sales — outbound, telesales, recruitment, or events — and at some point moved into training, coaching, or L&D. You still understand the sales floor because you’ve been on it. You’ll bring:

  • Strong live coaching ability — you change behaviour in the room
  • Confidence facilitating sessions with teams at all levels
  • CRM familiarity (Salesforce experience a plus)

Backgrounds we particularly welcome: outbound/telesales, recruitment, hospitality & events, contact centres, SaaS or high-growth commercial teams.

26 days holiday (rising with service), monthly team socials, paid sabbatical scheme.

If you’ve made the move from sales into training or coaching and still love the energy of a sales floor — we’d love to hear from you.
