We are a fast-growing, international consumer-facing business operating across multiple countries. We are looking for a Head of HR to lead people and talent strategy across the group and act as cover for the CHRO when required. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery across recruitment, reward, talent, and budget ownership.

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment: Lead recruitment activity across the group, including senior roles; Set and manage recruitment metrics and performance targets; Ensure hiring activity meets agreed KPIs including time to hire, agency spend and quality of hire; Oversee workforce planning, forecasting and recruitment processes across partner-led operations.
  • Pay and reward: Oversee annual pay and reward cycles across all markets; Ensure governance, consistency and alignment with business strategy.
  • Budget and reporting: Full ownership of the People & Culture budget; Monthly budget tracking with Finance; Provide guidance to local teams during annual planning and budgeting; Support new role approvals and workforce planning; Oversee month-end staffing and reporting processes.
  • Talent and development: Lead the annual performance and talent cycle including performance reviews, PDPs, KPI setting and calibration sessions; Develop and deliver the group-wide talent strategy; Produce talent insights and recommendations for senior leadership and Board; Own high-potential, coaching and leadership development programmes; Partner closely with People stakeholders on succession planning and capability development; Ensure appropriate learning solutions are in place to address development needs.
  • Leadership and governance: Lead and develop the People & Culture team; Support senior stakeholders with people strategy and delivery; Prepare materials for Board and Remuneration Committee meetings; Act as deputy to the CHRO as required.

Qualifications

  • Strong generalist HR experience with depth in recruitment.
  • Experience operating across multiple markets or regions.
  • Budget ownership and workforce planning experience.
  • Strategic, commercially minded and hands-on.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Experience within hospitality, retail, franchise or multi-site consumer businesses is highly desirable.
