Tasks
- Drive passengers safely, reliably and punctually
- Operate scheduled fixed routes and follow timetables and route instructions
- Complete vehicle checks before and after each duty
- Offer friendly, professional service and assist passengers where needed
- Support passengers with reduced mobility, including wheelchair users
- Report safety, vehicle or operational issues promptly
- Help keep the vehicle safe and presentable
Requirements
- Full UK Category D or D1 vocational entitlement permitting professional driving for hire or reward
- Current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence
- Right to work in the UK
- Safe and responsible driving record
- Strong driving skills and a calm, responsible driving stylel
- Friendly, courteous and professional manner
- Good English communication skills (B2 level or higher)
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable following scheduled routes and timetables
- Previous bus, minibus, community-transport or other professional passenger-driving experience is desirable
