About the opportunity
Via is partnering with a growing international organisation to recruit a qualified FP&A Analyst to join its EMEA Finance team in London.
This is a commercially focused finance role combining budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, management reporting and business partnering. You'll work closely with senior leadership and teams across the business, helping turn financial and operational data into clear insights that support decision-making.
The role would suit a qualified accountant with at least two years' post-qualified experience who has moved into FP&A, commercial finance or management reporting and wants greater exposure to strategic and investment-related work.
You'll join a fast-paced, multi-entity environment with the opportunity to improve existing FP&A tools and processes rather than simply maintaining them.
What you'll be doing
- Support the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting processes across EMEA
- Contribute to longer-term financial and strategic planning
- Consolidate and review financial submissions across different entities and functions
- Challenge assumptions and identify risks and opportunities within forecasts
- Analyse actual performance against budgets and forecasts
- Carry out variance, trend, driver and scenario analysis
- Translate complex financial data into clear insights and recommendations
- Build and maintain robust financial models in Excel
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for the CFO and senior leadership
- Support investor reporting and ensure financial information is accurate and consistent
- Improve existing FP&A models, reporting tools and processes
- Partner with Operations and other teams to provide commercial financial insight
- Prepare consolidated operational and financial performance reporting
- Support business cases and strategic initiatives through modelling and analysis
- Provide financial analysis to support investment and development decisions
- Respond to ad hoc analysis requests and commercial projects
What we're looking for
You'll need:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or an equivalent professional accounting qualification
- At least 2 years' post-qualified experience in FP&A, commercial finance, management reporting or a closely related position
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial-planning experience
- Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel skills, including experience building robust and auditable financial models
- Confidence working with large or imperfect datasets and identifying the key commercial drivers
- Experience producing management reporting and explaining financial performance
- The ability to turn detailed analysis into concise recommendations for senior stakeholders
- Experience developing or improving FP&A tools, models and processes
- Strong communication and business-partnering skills
- A commercial mindset and confidence constructively challenging assumptions
- Ability to work from the City of London office at least two days per week
Experience within a multi-site, multi-entity or international organisation would be particularly valuable, but isn't essential.
Why apply?
- Β£70,000βΒ£80,000 base salary
- Bonus opportunity
- 10% pension contribution
- Hybrid working with only 2 required office days per week
- Central London location
- Exposure to the CFO and senior leadership
- Work across the wider EMEA business
- Broad remit spanning FP&A, commercial finance and strategic analysis
- Exposure to investment and development decision-making
- Opportunity to improve financial models, reporting and FP&A processes
- Join a fast-paced international environment with significant business-partnering exposure
If you're a qualified finance professional with strong FP&A and modelling experience who wants a commercially focused role with exposure to senior decision-making, we'd like to hear from you.
