A leading manufacturing organisation based in West London is seeking an experienced IFS Functional Consultant to support a major IFS programme across Finance and Service Management modules. This is a hands-on functional role, ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with the business, shaping solutions, and ensuring IFS is configured to genuinely support operational and financial processes.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the functional lead for IFS Finance and Service Management modules
- Work with finance, service, and operations stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements
- Configure IFS to support end-to-end finance and service processes
- Support system design, functional specifications, and solution validation
- Lead and support UAT, defect resolution, and business readiness activities
- Provide functional input during integrations, data migration, and cutover planning
- Support go-live and early-life stabilisation
- Proven experience as an IFS Functional Consultant
- Strong knowledge of IFS Finance (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Projects or similar)
- Experience with IFS Service Management modules
- Background working within manufacturing, engineering, or asset-heavy environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with both finance and operational teams
- Comfortable working in a hybrid, fast-paced programme environment
- £700 per day, Outside IR35
- Initial 6-month contract with strong extension potential
- Hybrid working with regular on-site presence in West London
