Via is proud to be supporting a global leader in power, heating and cooling solutions in their search for a driven Sales Representative to be based across the Southeast of England.
Our client keeps the world running. From major international events to remote mining communities, they deliver critical temperature control and power solutions around the clock, across every sector. This is a business with genuine scale, real ambition, and the infrastructure to back up its people.
The Opportunity
This is a new business-focused field sales role covering the Southeast, targeting sectors including manufacturing, food and beverage, storage and distribution, and HVAC contractors. You will be responsible for growing market share, developing key accounts, and becoming the go-to name in temperature control rental across your patch.
What You Will Be Doing
- Identifying and winning new customers across industries that depend on advanced temperature control systems
- Meeting and exceeding revenue targets across HVAC equipment, temperature control solutions, and associated aftermarket services
- Spotting gaps in market coverage and building strategies to fill them through a direct, proactive sales approach
- Penetrating deeper into existing accounts, converting competitor business, and protecting the service base
- Building and developing relationships with key accounts, contributing to national account growth
- Collaborating with operations and engineering teams to ensure full delivery capability
- Managing pipelines, quotes, and customer activity accurately through CRM tools
What We Are Looking For
- A field sales background in HVAC, temperature control, or industrial hire. Plant, equipment, or specialist hire environments are all highly relevant.
- If you understand how to sell rental solutions into industrial and commercial settings, we want to hear from you
- Any direct experience with temperature control equipment or systems would put you at the front of the queue
- A true hunter: self-starting, commercially sharp, and motivated by winning new business
- Someone who generates their own leads and manages their own diary with discipline. This role suits people who thrive with autonomy, not those who need structure handed to them
- Strong stakeholder management, presentation skills, and the ability to close
What is on Offer
- Base salary of £45,000 to £60,000, with flexibility above this for the right candidate coming from a direct competitor
- Uncapped commission paid quarterly. First-year performers are typically earning £5,000 to £7,000 per quarter, while top billers are banking £18,000 to £20,000+ per quarter. The structure rewards those who push hardest, and there is no ceiling on what you can take home
- Company car or car allowance. You will be field-based and on the road, with the tools to match
- Full autonomy over how you work. This is a genuinely trust-based environment. If overnighting near a client site makes commercial sense, you book it. No micromanagement, no jumping through hoops
- Flexible working arrangements
- Generous holiday allowance with the option to buy or sell additional days
- Structured professional development and clear career progression
- Paid volunteering days and community leave
- Access to a comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme
