The Opportunity

Following a significant acquisition programme and the successful integration of four businesses into one nationally operating brand, this organisation is entering an exciting new phase of growth - and they need a talented Management Accountant to grow with them. This is a brilliant opportunity for a part-qualified or qualified accountant who wants more than just a transactional role. You'll be embedded in the business, working closely with senior leadership and operational teams, and your work will genuinely shape how the finance function evolves.

The Role

Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of core management accounting activities and play a central role in providing the financial insight that drives business decisions. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation and ownership of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
  • Supporting the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycle
  • Business partnering with operational and commercial teams to deliver meaningful financial insight
  • Maintaining and strengthening financial controls and processes
  • Assisting with year-end reporting and liaising with external auditors
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to reporting tools and processes

About You

We are looking for someone who combines technical competence with commercial curiosity. To be considered, you will ideally have:

  • Part-qualified or fully qualified status (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
  • Solid experience in a management accounts role, ideally within a fast-paced, growing, or PE-backed environment
  • A confident, analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
  • The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with accounting platforms such as Sage, Xero, or similar
