The Role
Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of core management accounting activities and play a central role in providing the financial insight that drives business decisions. Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparation and ownership of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
- Supporting the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycle
- Business partnering with operational and commercial teams to deliver meaningful financial insight
- Maintaining and strengthening financial controls and processes
- Assisting with year-end reporting and liaising with external auditors
- Identifying and implementing improvements to reporting tools and processes
About You
We are looking for someone who combines technical competence with commercial curiosity. To be considered, you will ideally have:
- Part-qualified or fully qualified status (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
- Solid experience in a management accounts role, ideally within a fast-paced, growing, or PE-backed environment
- A confident, analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with accounting platforms such as Sage, Xero, or similar
