We are excited to offer a 6-month secondment opportunity for a Road Markings Coordinator to join our Construction Delivery team, based at our Bilsthorpe Office.

About the Opportunity

This is a great development opportunity for existing Via colleagues looking to broaden their experience, build technical knowledge, and gain exposure to network management and construction delivery activities. You’ll play a key role in coordinating road marking programmes across the county, helping to ensure our highways remain safe, efficient, and well maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake inspections of highway and footway road markings to develop annual maintenance programmes aligned to HNMP priorities
  • Carry out traffic management assessments to ensure safe, compliant solutions are implemented
  • Monitor and manage costs, including estimates, target pricing, and agreeing payments for schemes
  • Respond to internal and external queries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Input and manage data across Via systems and spreadsheets to support performance reporting
  • Monitor and audit subcontractor performance, including site inspections and safety briefings to ensure SHEQ compliance
  • Act as the internal point of contact for coordinating road marking activities and programming works efficiently

What We’re Looking For

  • NRSWA qualification or equivalent experience within a highways or construction environment
  • Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise workloads
  • Good ICT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and standard Office applications
  • Confident communicator with experience engaging with stakeholders
  • Full UK driving licence
