Assistant Geo-Environmental Assistant

Via East Midlands are currently seeking an Assistant Geo-Environmental Assistant to join our Environmental Consultancy team based out of our Trent Bridge House Office in West Bridgford, Nottingham.

The role will support the delivery of the Geo Environmental contaminated land services by assisting with the technical work and projects.

What you'll do

  • Support the delivery of contaminated land and environmental projects by assisting with technical assessments and providing input under the guidance of senior colleagues.
  • Assist with site investigation, and independently carry out data collection activities on site, such as gas monitoring to help ensure projects are delivered safely on time and in budget.
  • Communicate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders over different platforms.
  • What we're seeking
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in environmental / Geological Sciences or other related subject.
  • Working towards membership of a relevant professional body and evidence of ongoing CPD maintenance.
  • Contribution towards the writing and preparation of technical reports including Phase 1 Desk Studies, Phase 2 Intrusive Investigations, human health risk assessments and remediation strategies.
