Clerks of Works Via East Midlands are currently seeking three Clerks of Works to join our Pre Construction Division based out of our Head Office in Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire.

What you'll do:
- Monitoring contractor performance, specifications and compliance to set works and quality standards, taking action to reduce risk and to reduce any delay in projects meeting SLAs.
- Supporting program planning and delivery and contribute to the development and continuous improvement of project controls, reporting processes and contract management systems.
- Liaising closely with contractors to instruct and advise on matters related to quality control and any interpretation of contracts documents.
- Conduct pre and post work assessments to agree and review work standards to ensure all work is at the required specification and standards.
- Coordinating multiple live projects ensuring effective communication and prioritisation across all work streams.
- Provide technical advice to contractors on site, on matters related to quality control and the interpretation of contract agreements and documents.
What we're seeking:
- Relevant Highway Maintenance experience
- Experience of overseeing contractors to specific specifications and juggling multiple projects
- Ability to make well balanced and thought through decisions and on-site technical advice and guidance.
- Knowledge and experience in the relevant H&S standards with knowledge of environmental and sustainability requirements
- Delivery focused whilst maintaining attention to detail with experience of meeting deadlines and project delivery SLAs
- Experience of working with multidisciplinary teams
- Valid UK driving licence
