Highways Liaison Coordinator
Via East Midlands are currently seeking a Highways Liaison Coordinator to join our Highways Management team based out of our Head Office in Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire.

What you'll do:
- Assist in resolving highway management issues through effective, cost-controlled solutions.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and promote partnership working.
- Use initiative to manage complex and emergency highway situations.
- Coordinate urgent highway incidents with the Emergency Response Team to maintain public safety.
- Provide timely and informative responses to internal and external customers.
- Support the planning and delivery of schemes within the allocated area.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, policies, and best practice.
- Support business growth by identifying opportunities and linking customers with Commercial Services.
What we're seeking:
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive and positive approach.
- Experience in highways, civil engineering, or transferable skills from a similar field.
- Confident handling challenging customer interactions by phone and in person.
- Adaptable and flexible in response to changing business needs.
- Able to investigate issues thoroughly and identify effective solutions.
- Supports change and motivates others with a positive outlook.
