I'm currently working on behalf of a precision engineering client based in Oxfordshire, a business with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality machined components to the motorsport and automotive sectors. Due to continued growth and increasing demand, they are now looking to add a permanent CNC Operator (milling machines) to their team.
Role Overview
You will be joining a skilled and supportive engineering team, working on Fanuc-controlled CNC Mills to produce complex, small-batch, tight-tolerance components. The company values precision, initiative, and a commitment to quality, and this role is ideal for someone with a passion for high-end manufacturing and engineering excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and operate CNC Mills using Fanuc controls
- Read and interpret technical engineering drawings
- Carry out in-process inspection using standard measuring tools
- Maintain high levels of quality and consistency across all work
- Work efficiently to job specifications and deadlines
Requirements
- Proven experience in CNC Milling within a precision engineering environment
- Strong understanding of Fanuc controls
- Background in automotive, motorsport, or aerospace industries preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and a proactive attitude
Working Hours
08:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday
Overtime available depending on workload
Salary & Benefits
