The Opportunity
Due to continued investment in people and infrastructure, the business is expanding its highly skilled engineering team. They are now looking to recruit experienced and motivated Exhaust Fabricators / TIG Welders to support ongoing growth and advanced manufacturing projects. Key Responsibilities
- Precision fabrication and TIG welding of high-performance exhaust components
- Working with exotic materials including Inconel, Titanium, and Stainless Steel
- Reading and interpreting complex technical and engineering drawings
- Using specialist fabrication tools including tube benders, notchers, and forming equipment
- Performing in-process quality checks to ensure components meet stringent tolerances
- Collaborating with engineers and quality teams to ensure project deadlines and standards are met
- Supporting lean manufacturing and continuous improvement processes within the workshop
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in TIG welding and precision fabrication, ideally in motorsport, aerospace, or high-performance automotive sectors
- Strong familiarity with welding and forming thin-gauge exotic metals
- Ability to work from detailed technical drawings and specifications
- Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision
- High attention to detail and a passion for producing world-class quality work
