Job Description
Exceptional B1 Licensed Engineer Opportunity – London City Airport
We’re currently looking to engage with a number of B1 Licensed Engineers to join our client’s prestigious line maintenance operation at London City Airport. This is a rare opportunity to work with one of the industry\’s most respected operators on their modern Embraer E190 fleet.
Why This Role Stands Out
London City Airport isn\’t just another posting – it\’s where aviation professionals come to test their skills against some of Europe\’s most demanding operational challenges. The short runway, steep approach angles, and relentless schedule create an environment where engineers face different and more frequent problems to solve than at bigger airports.
You\’ll be joining a tight-knit team that genuinely supports each other, working on aircraft that demand precision engineering in an environment that rewards innovation and professional excellence. The smaller 6-person team setup ensures that you get more variety of work around the whole aircraft and will increase your level of knowledge and engineering skill faster.
The Role in Detail
This isn\’t your typical line maintenance position. You\’ll be the go-to expert for both routine servicing and complex defect rectification on the Embraer E190 fleet. When aircraft go AOG, you\’ll be the problem solver everyone turns to. The pace is fast, the challenges are real, and the satisfaction of keeping operations running smoothly is immense.
The role offers genuine variety – from scheduled maintenance cycles to reactive troubleshooting that will stretch your technical abilities and keep you at the top of your game.
