We are seeking a Technical Service Specialist to join our global entertainment technology company. You will play a key role in supporting, repairing, and maintaining advanced equipment used by customers worldwide. This role combines technical troubleshooting, customer support, and event preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair company products; determine if replacement is needed
- Complete documentation for repairs, returns, and shipments
- Set up and configure new equipment for production
- Apply Engineering Change Orders to stock
- Support customers by phone and email, resolving technical issues
- Guide users on software updates and installations
- Prepare and ship demo or loan equipment
- Support trade show setup and travel to events or customer sites
- Train staff and clients on product use and repair procedures
- Report product issues to engineering; assist in testing prototypes
Requirements:
Essential:
- Technical degree in Electronics or equivalent experience
- 3β5 yearsβ experience in electronics repair
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to travel occasionally across Europe
- Proficient in soldering (including surface-mount), using hand/power tools and test equipment
- Skilled in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Physically able to lift up to 23 kg
Desirable:
- Experience with PCBs, mechanical assemblies, and reading schematics
- Knowledge of current wiring standards
- Background in entertainment technology
