A leading motorsport engineering company is seeking experienced Composite Laminators to support high-performance racing and Formula 1 programmes. This role involves producing advanced carbon fibre parts in a precision-driven, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Laminate pre-preg carbon fibre parts following engineering drawings and lay-up schedules
- Ensure all ply orientations, debulking, and material handling follow strict standards
- Produce high-quality components that meet motorsport and F1 specifications
- Work within tight tolerances and ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
- Maintain traceability and accurate documentation throughout the build process
- Follow cleanroom and health & safety procedures
- Meet demanding production schedules and deadlines
Mandatory Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Composite Laminator
- Strong knowledge of pre-preg carbon fibre lay-up
- Background in motorsport or Formula 1 environments
- Ability to read and follow detailed engineering drawings
- High attention to detail and quality focus
Desirable:
- Experience using autoclaves
- Familiarity with aerospace-level quality requirements
- Flexibility to work across different shifts
Available Shift Patterns:
- Day Shift: Mon–Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm (40 hours)
- Night Shift: Mon–Thu, 6:00pm–6:00am (46 hours)
- Weekend Shift: Fri–Sun, 6:00am–6:00pm (34.5 hours)
