Role Summary

We are recruiting a Field Service Engineer to join a specialist engineering and technical services company operating across London. This permanent, full-time position offers a salary of £51,000, a company vehicle, technical training, and clear career development opportunities. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, repairing, and installing specialist equipment at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on specialist equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and/or electrical faults.
- Respond to breakdowns and service call-outs.
- Install, commission, and test new equipment.
- Complete service reports and maintenance records accurately.
- Provide technical support and advice to customers.
- Ensure work is completed in line with company and industry standards.
- Maintain excellent customer service while working on-site.

Required Qualifications
\n

- Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or similar.
- Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage a field-based workload effectively.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel throughout London and surrounding areas.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with specialist equipment.
- Mechanical and/or electrical engineering qualifications.
- Installation and commissioning experience.
